A page detailing my software experience
I have been working since April 2010 at Google, in their New York office, as a Software Engineer for Google Maps, working on data-quality issues in the backend.
Previously, I worked for seven years as an RF factory applications engineer for Teradyne, Inc. My responsibilities there were to provide pre- and post-sales support for our customers developing production test programs for wireless semiconductor devices using Teradyne automatic test equipment. Technically, that required an understanding of microwave/RF circuit components, metrology, and system design, DSP algorithms to produce and analyze cellular, WLAN, Bluetooth, and UWB signals, as well as basic software engineering, troubleshooting, and customer technical training skills.
I worked for over a year as a Sr. Software Engineer in Motorola's Enterprise Mobility division (formerly Symbol Technologies) developing test plans to verify their hardware and software platforms, particularly their Bluetooth, VoWLAN, and accelerometer functions.
In addition, I have a Ph.D. in Physics; my research involved low-temperature superconducting electronics, and my thesis was on metallo-dielectric photonic crystals for infrared applications. I also have a broad range of software experience.
I am limited to the New York City metropolitan area, for family reasons.
